ABOUT CHRISTMANN HOUSE

Christmann House was built in 1885 by Caspar Christmann, a German merchant tailor.  The Christmann family came to Hermann in 1870.   In December of 2018, we, Scott and Heather Krafft, purchased the property.  The building has housed many families and businesses through the years and we are proud to invite you today.  We welcome you to come relax, explore, and enjoy all that the Christmann House and Hermann have to offer.

The Suite

The Christmann  House Suite in the Heart of Hermann provides a modern retreat.  An inviting guest room on ground level, the Suite has been recently remodeled and features Off-Street Parking, a King-Sized Bed, Comfortable Linens, Sitting Area, Wi-Fi,  Smart Television, Double Vanity Bath,  Hermann Handmade Bath Soap, Toiletries, Coffee Bar with Espresso Laine Blend Coffee, Snacks, Soft Drinks,  Microwave, and Refrigerator.  The Suite is a private guest space in the heart of town.

Christmann House has outdoor seating  on the property.  Relax with your coffee in the morning, or enjoy a glass of wine if the weather is nice.

Modern Bath

The Suite's Bath has been completely updated and remodeled.  Double sink vanity, spacious tiled shower, with toiletries provided, including locally made soap, Hermann Handmade Soap made with Stone Hill's Hermannsberger wine.  The Christmann Suite Bath provides a spa-like atmosphere for your visit.

The Hermann Trolley stop is just steps away from your private entrance.  Hop on The  Hermann Trolley and let someone else do the driving!

The Christmann House is in the heart of Hermann on Market Street and is within walking distance of  everything Hermann has to offer.  Several restaurants are around the corner on 4th Street!

For convenience, the Christmann House Suite is equipped with a refrigerator and microwave.  Glassware and essentials are supplied in the hospitality area as well as complimentary bagged snacks, soft drinks, and bottled water.

The place was wonderful. It was right in the middle of town yet felt private. Heather was very thoughtful and made sure that we had everything we needed. The overall place was very clean, decorated very well, and the perfect size for two of us! We will being coming back for another stay!
